Two of our favorite writers (yours too) are heading out to discuss big books and big ideas, courtesy of our sister organization, the National Review Institute, which will be partnering and co-sponsoring these following events.
Heading West: Jay Nordlinger (NR senior editor, NRI Book Fellow, author of NRO’s beloved “Impromptus”) will be discussing his acclaimed Children of Monsters: An Inquiry into the Sons and Daughters of Dictators at a Pacific Research Institute luncheon on February 10, 2016 at the City Club in San Francisco. Be there! For more information and to reserve a seat go here.
Heading Not-So-West: Charlie Cooke will be in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, January 21, 2016 with the America’s Future Foundation to discuss the importance of local innovation and local control and their interaction with federalism — and maybe even talk about The Conservatarian Manifesto: Libertarians, Conservatives, and the Fight for the Right’s Future. For more information and to sign up, go here. And then on January 27 Charlie will be hanging with the good folks at The Beacon Center of Tennessee for a conservatarian conversation at Club LeConte in Knoxville. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m., and the event is free but you must RSVP (contact suzanne@beacontn.org or call 615-383-6431 — you must do that by the 21st).
