I used to like the Newsweek campaign book. All of us political junkies did. Newsweek would assign reporters to the various campaigns. The deal was, they could watch the campaign unfold, and not say anything until after the election — the general election. Then the book came out, giving you the inside story.
By golly, the Newsweek book has come already — a chapter of it, at least. It has come in the form of Tim Alberta and Eliana Johnson’s piece on Cruz and Iowa, published on our homepage. Geezum. I could get used to this instant gratification.
Excellent work, Tim and EJ.
