Who Are the Sanders Voters, Ctd.

Last week I mentioned a New York Timesop-ed in which two academics argued that, contrary to what one might have expected, Sanders voters were to the right of Clinton voters on economic issues. Today’s Washington Post carries a rebuttal by two other academics, who note that the Times op-ed’s definition of “Sanders supporters” included Republicans who merely prefer him to Clinton. As far as I can tell, though, another point in that Times op-ed — that young Democrats are to the right of their elders on some economic issues — still stands.
