Is it a Trump endorsement? Not a formal Trump endorsement? To quote our illustrious former Secretary of State, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
I’ll be voting for @realDonaldTrump this fall. I’m confident he will help turn the House GOP’s agenda into laws. https://t.co/LyaT16khJw

In an op-ed in his hometown paper, Ryan lays out his evaluation of Trump, a familiar one:
It’s no secret that he and I have our differences. I won’t pretend otherwise. And when I feel the need to, I’ll continue to speak my mind. But the reality is, on the issues that make up our agenda, we have more common ground than disagreement.
For me, it’s a question of how to move ahead on the ideas that I—and my House colleagues—have invested so much in through the years. It’s not just a choice of two people, but of two visions for America. And House Republicans are helping shape that Republican vision by offering a bold policy agenda, by offering a better way ahead.
Donald Trump can help us make it a reality.
At this point, the list of elected Republican officials who are not supporting Trump is very short. There’s Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, New Mexico Gov. Suzana Martinez, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse, and Reps. Justin Amash of Michigan, Bob Dold of Illinois, Carlos Curbelo of Florida, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida and Reid Ribble of Wisconsin.
Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee have not indicated whether they will support Trump yet.
