The Fox poll asks whether Hillary and Trump are likable enough to serve effectively as president, and incredibly enough Hillary actually scores better: 47 percent say she is likable enough and 49 percent say she is not; 39 percent say Trump is likable enough and 58 percent say he is not. Of all the unpredictable things we’ve seen in 2016, who would have guessed Hillary Clinton would be the likable candidate? Hillary has wide leads over Trump on knowledge and temperament, and even a narrow lead on integrity. The attribute where Trump has an enormous advantage is shaking up things in Washington. A big question obviously is how this Trumpian disruption is defined. Will voters believe it is too dangerous, as Hillary will argue, or will they believe it is necessary to break up a corrupt status quo in Washington, as Trump supporters will contend?
